研究了不同浓度维生素 C 对 Cu2+诱导的低密度脂蛋白(LDL)氧化修饰的抑制作用,通过测定硫代巴比妥酸反应物质(TBARS),荧光物质(lipofusion)扫描及琼脂糖电泳,显示一定浓度的维生素 C 在24h 内对 LDL 的氧化修饰具有抑制作用,并呈现量效效应.提示维生素 C 作为体内存在的一种抗氧化物,可抑制 LDL的氧化修饰,从而在防治动脉粥样硬化的发生具有一定意义.
Oxidatively modification of low density lipoprotein(LDL) could contribute to theatherosclerotic process by its cytotoxic effect,e.g.being uptaked by the macrophage sca-venger receptor,accelerating the foam cell formation and the influencing on monocyte andmacrophage mobility.The aim of present study is to examine the effect of different con-centrations of vitamine C on Cu2+-induced oxidative modification of LDL.As evidencedby the lipid peroxide content,lipofusion and the elec trophoretic mobility,vitamine C could inhibit the oxidative modification of LDL for 24h. The extent of the inhibition depended on vitamine C concentration. These findings indicate that vitamine C is a potentantio-xidant in vivo, it can protect LDL from oxidative modification. Hence, vitamine C can prevent and treat atherosclerosis.
