Ca2+的光释放技术通过光解作用使预先引入细胞内的光敏感性螯合剂对Ca2+的亲和性改变,从而实现对细胞内游离钙离子浓度的调控,有助于阐明Ca2+作为第二信使对电兴奋性、肌肉收缩、神经分泌等细胞功能的调制作用.
Photorelease technique of Ca2+ can manipulate intracellular calcium concentation ([Ca2+]i) by photolyzing specific photosensitive Ca2+ chelator in the cell to change its affinity with Ca2+. This technique is especially useful in elucidating the intracellular messenger role of Ca2+ in cell functions such as electrical excitability, muscle contraction and secretion, etc.
