A purification method for phage DNA is introduced. Phage particles are precipitated by polyethylene glycol (PEG), then purified by DEAE-cellulose DE52 and extracted by phenol. This modified method is more convenient, rapid and economical than the traditional method of phage DNA purification and can obtain phage DNA with high purity.
