The adenovirus vectors have begun to show importance in the researches of gene therapy, and have therefore attracted the attention of public. A fuller description is given on the basic structure of adenovirus genome, the classification and the construction of the adenovirus vectors, the applications of the recombinant adenovirus, as well as their advantages and disadvantages in use of gene therapy.
