    Abstract:

The recent theoretical researches on the conductivity in proteins were reviewed. The investigations of the past decades were briefly introduced and commented. It was discussed that the approximations and numerical methods on the calculations on the electronic structures and theoretical conductivity of an entire molecule of proteins. The basic characteristics of the electronic structures and theoretical conductivity of proteins were concluded from the calculated results. Finally, an electronic channel model on the trans-membrane signal transformation by insulin and its receptor was presented from those results of insulins.
