    Abstract:

Insulin-like growth factor 1 is a multifunctional cell regulating factor. It has been demonstrated that structural characteristics of IGF1 provide clues for its growth promoting and anabolic effect. It is concentrated on the three dimensional structure of human IGF1, and the combining regions between IGF1 and relative receptors and binding proteins. It also shows the important role of disulfide bonds in the protein folding.
