    Abstract:

    To evaluate reasonably the neurotrophic action of small molecule. MTT, differentiation quantity and image analysis methods were used, with the FK506 and GPI1046 as positive control chemicals. A PC12 cell survival and differentiation based screening system were established, in which FK506 and GPI1046 sharply enhanced the neurotrophic action of NGF both in survival and differentiation model just as expected. The system will be helpful in screening neurotrophic novel compounds from chemical library produced by combinatorial chemistry.
