    Abstract:

Micropipette-aspiring system was selected to test the adhesion property of Wistar rat osteoblasts on polylactide (PLA) and maleic anhydride modified-polylactide (MPLA) made in our laboratory. The aims were evaluating one of the material's suitability for tissue engineering-adhesion property and the modification method. The results showed that osteoblasts had better adhesion property on PLA than on glass. The adhesion force of osteoblasts on PLA at 24 hour increased about 2 times after modification. The 24 hour adhesion force of osteoblasts on MPLA was 1.3 times more than that of 15 minute. But there was no significant difference on PLA. The research demonstrates that MPLA is a better scaffold for osteoblasts adhesion and the modification method is suitable for tissue engineering.
