    Abstract:

The killing effect of photoexcited TiO2 particles on U937 cells has been studied. DNA agarose gel electrophoresis shows that photoexcited TiO2 particles can damage DNA, leading to the death of cells. So a new assumption of the way to kill cancer cells is proposed.
