Human hairs are one of the most easily found forms of biological evidence at crime scenes, Here we report a method isolating DNA from singte hairs and the results of the gene amplification (PCR) from the hairs' DNA. Further studies on the amplified gene fragments are valuable for the forensic identification of individuals.
