Activator protein 1(AP-1)is a transcription factor that is recently interested and related to the regulation of genes expression induced by oxidative stress. The contents about the relation of oxidative stress to cfos and cjun genes expression,activation of AP-1, regulation of oxidative stress response by AP-1 and electrophile responsive element are simply reviewed.
