The development of antibody library has opened an effective way to produce human monoclonal antibodies. Although the antibody library technology came out only a few years ago, its selection system has been improved greatly, and now monoclonal antibodies with various uses can be screened from antibody libraries rapidly. This technology eliminates some limitations of traditional hybridoma methods. The development and future of antibody library was reviewed.
