Advances in new label strategies and application of liquid crystalline medium for giving additional structural information have improved the accuracy of solution protein structures determined by NMR, and extended the molecular weight limit. Several structures of proteins of 30 ku have been solved using 15N,13C,2H labeling multidimensional NMR techniques, and this limit will probably be surpassed in the near future.
