    Abstract:

Analysis of phenylthiocarbamyl (PTC) amino acids with ethanol as organic eluent is described. Compared with acetonitrile elution system, ethanol is less toxic, easier to obtain and much cheaper. Under optimized chromatographic conditions, the resolution, sensitivity and accuracy are excellent.
