Quantitative analysis of mRNA is an important technique in the study of gene expression regulation. RNase protection assay shows higher sensitivity and easier operation than Dot blot and Nothern blot . The expressions of human β E-globin gene and mouse α-globin gene in transgenic mice were successfully analyzed by RNase protection assay.
