Cellular senescence contributes greatly to organism aging, organism self-protection, cell carcinogenesis and many significant physiological or pathological processes. The mechanism of cellular senescence could be applied to cancer therapy. The way in these years to seek for the mammalian cellular senescence associated genes is described.
