    Abstract:

Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is the most widely distributed neurotrophin in the central nervous system (CNS), serving many biological functions such as neural survival, differentiation, and plasticity. Treating the antidepressant drug could promote nerve cell survival and increase the synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis by improving BDNF expression.
