Open Access: Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics has become an open-access journal starting from the first issue of 2022. All articles published thereafter will be permanently available for free reading and downloading on our journal’s website. Open access articles date back to 1990, and both the Chinese and English websites of our journal are available for free reading and downloading. Articles from 1974 to 1989 are not currently open access, but can be freely read and downloaded on the Chinese website of our journal.

Archive: Our journal has digitally archived all articles published since its inception in 1974. These articles are available for free download on the Chinese website, while the English website provides free downloads for articles published after 1990. Both the print and electronic versions of each issue are archived at the Editorial Office. All related materials, such as additional information and forms provided by authors during paper submission, are also archived at the Editorial Office. 

User’s Rights: All open-access articles in our journal are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial (CC BY-NC 4.0), allowing third party users to copy, distribute and transmit the work in any medium or format based on the terms of attribution and non-commercial use. As long as users comply with the license terms, the licensor cannot revoke these rights. Users must provide appropriate attribution, a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
