Open Access: Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics has become an open-access journal starting from the first issue of 2022. All articles published thereafter will be permanently available for free reading and downloading on our journal’s website. Articles from 1974 to 2021 are not currently open access, but can be read and downloaded for free on the Chinese website of our journal. The copyright of these articles belongs to the authors, while the previously signed Article Copyright License Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
Archive: Our journal has digitally archived all articles published since its inception in 1974. These articles are available for free download on the Chinese website, while the English website provides free downloads for articles published after 1990. Both the print and electronic versions of each issue are archived at the Editorial Office. All related materials, such as additional information and forms provided by authors during paper submission, are also archived at the Editorial Office. The journal’s articles can also be downloaded in full text from databases including CNKI and Weipu (1990-). If the journal and the website were closed, archived data could be retrieved through those full-text databases.
