Info for Authors-pibb2023

All manuscripts are preliminarily reviewed by editors with the formality of the journal. Most of the submitted manuscripts would pass the preliminary review and then be sent to at least two referees for an in-depth review. Referees are selected in the same specialty area of each manuscript. One of them is in the editorial board of Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics, and the other(s) is outside referee(s). After this in-depth review, the comments and advice from referees will be sent back to the editorial board of PIBB for a comprehensive consideration. Finally, in a monthly meeting the standing members of the editorial board will discuss and make the final decision for each reviewed manuscript based on the original comments of the referees and the capacity of the journal for publication.

Editors will inform the authors of the final decision and advice as soon as possibele by E-mail.
