For revised papers, authors will be required to provide a point-by-point response to the comments made by the Executive Editor, Reviewers and Editorial Office. Please ensure these are included within a single file and that every comment is responded to and/or addressed in the article file as appropriate. Authors should upload the revised manuscript (in doc(x) format), Copyright License Agreement, and other supporting materials onto the submission system.
The revised version should be rearranged in accordance to the format requirements and returned within the time limit provided by Editorial Office. If there are special circumstances that may delay your submission, please contact the Editorial Office in time, otherwise the manuscript will deem withdrawn. If there are significant changes to the article, it will be considered as a new submission.
Providing Supporting Materials
Copyright License Agreement. In order to protect legal rights and interests of the journal and authors, the journal requires authors to provide Copyright License Agreement which should be approved by all authors. Copyright License Agreement can be downloaded from the journal’s website(http://www.pibb.ac.cn/pibben/site/menu/20250328171849001）. A scanned copy should be uploaded onto the submission system.
Informed Consent Statement. For medical papers, if the patient's name, portrait, pedigree, and other identifiable information need to be published, the Informed Consent Statements signed by all individuals must be provided and published together with the paper. Scanned copies should be uploaded in the submission system.
Other ethical materials. Papers describing any experimental work with humans should include a statement in the section of "Materials and Methods" confirming that the research has been carried out in accordance with the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki*, and that all subjects provided written informed consent. (*recommended requirement but it is sufficient to have institutional review board approval), For experiments with animals, please ensure that in “Materials and Methods” you state where the ethics approval has been sought/obtained from, the site where the animal work has taken place and the approval number obtained from the appropriate institutional review board.A scanned copy of the materials above should be uploaded in the submission system.
Acceptance and Online Publishing
An acceptance letter will be sent to authors if the paper meets the journal’s publishing requirements. After that, the full text will be published online on the journal’s official website and other contracted website.
Proofreading and Payment
Authors should complete proofreading and make payment within given time before publishing. If not, the manuscript shall deem withdrawn except that a reasonable explanation is acceptable. Please refer to Publication Charges for fee details.
